We have heard about Mother Nature and Father Time. Without time your possibilities begin to shrink to nothing. Time is the father of all things. Using your time well should therefore be a fundamental objective in life. You only have so much time on the planet to achieve your dreams. So make every minute count. I love the cumulative nature of time. You can only do so much in a day, but it’s amazing what you can do over the course of a lifetime. So don’t look at time from the one-day perspective. Have a long term strategic approach to whatever you are doing. Apply the blessing and principle of time. You will be surprised what you can do over the years.
SCRIPTURE READING: ECCLESIASTES 9:11
Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.
Dear God, Thank you for life and time today. I am alive to love, worship and serve you. Grant me wisdom to use the time you have given me effectively. May I have the proper short, medium and long term perspective to the possibilities. May I seize the time and chance you grant me in Jesus’ name. Amen
