DANCING IN THE RAIN

We mostly know how to work hard. Most people that know the work ethic sadly don’t know the play ethic. Recreation, rest, relaxation is very important. As you are unleashed on your destiny, don’t forget to play and enjoy yourself. Life is not only about deadlines and job descriptions. There are times you need to throw the wig off your head and just be. Don’t try to meet a target or to make a sale all the time. Effective down time sets you up for fruitful up time. You occasionally need to unwind and recharge your spirit, so you can attack with outstanding results. Pick up a hobby, go to the gym., start a sport, Learn a music instrument, get to the tennis club or even better,  play some golf. Regularly take some time out to refresh and reload.

SCRIPTURE READING: JEREMIAH 31:1-4
“At that time, declares the LORD, I will be the God of all the clans of Israel, and they shall be my people.” Thus says the LORD: “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when Israel sought for rest, the LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel! Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines and shall go forth in the dance of the merrymakers.

DEDICATION PRAYER
Dear God, thank you for the beauty and joy of life in its simplicity. Give me the understanding to appreciate play time. After all the fighting and the delivering of results and all that, grant me some time out to just refresh and rejuvenate. May I appreciate the time out by your grace, in Jesus’ name. Amen
