The proof of the pudding is in the eating. After you make your bed, you must lay in it. The promise you desire must be pursued. It is not enough to believe, you must pursue the object of your faith. Knowing the promise of God for you should empower and embolden you to step beyond the limits and place your hands on the reality of your promise. Pursuit means, getting out of your comfort zone and hitting it hard. It means facing the challenges and refusing to give up. It means facing your Goliath with confidence and faith that the Lord is giving you the victory. It is not enough for you to desire success. You must walk the walk after you talk the talk and get the job done. Steel your heart and steady your hand, you have the grace to get the desired results. Don’t hesitate, you are born to perform, well able to surprise your competition, wow the crowd and win the race.
SCRIPTURE READING: PSALM 34:12-14
What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Dear God, give me the strength to run the race and get the job done. I know you have built me for speed and success. May I run with you and pursue your promises in my life till they become a reality. You are my glory, my strength and the lifter of my head. In Jesus’ name. Amen
