Jesus talking to His disciples responded to an impossible situation. The challenge of entering the kingdom of God was harder than a camel going through the eye of a needle. This impossible proposition seemed to be a futile venture in the eyes of the disciples. Then Jesus spun it around and declared. Nothing is impossible with God. This was an all-inclusive, unrestricted, never ending, blanket statement for all believers. Your hard situation is not that hard. That challenge is not so challenging after all. The dead-end is not really a dead-end. That closed door doesn’t even need to be opened, there is another door into that same room. And if that room is inaccessible then don’t worry, what you need is not in there anyway. Nothing is impossible with God. The infinite wisdom and power of God truly makes all things possible. So take the limits off your mind. And if your mind still can’t go beyond those limits, take the limits off your God. Many Christians have put limits on an unlimited God. Remember, nothing is impossible with God. So don’t deal with God like you do with your ex-boyfriend, former boss or past crush. Nothing is impossible with God.
SCRIPTURE READING: MATHEW 10:25-27
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him, “Then who can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
Dear God. I come into your realm where all things are possible. I refuse the limits and restricts of this world. I walk by faith not by sight. So by your grace nothing is impossible in my life. I believe you will take me beyond my wildest imagination. In Jesus’ name. Amen
