Financial Planning

People generally have different plans in life. Plans to marry, go places, do things and just live life. Very few have plans for their finances. I am talking about a blueprint of what you want, how you plan to get it, where you will spend it and what not to spend. It’s not enough to just handle it as it comes. It’s been rightly said, failing to plan is planning to fail. You need a detailed financial plan that will guide your life to your dreams. Money matters begin with a proper financial plan.I have literary talked with hundreds of people across cultures, who don’t have an idea where their next meal or income will come from. Struggling financially is generally the result of having no plan. How much money do you want in life? How do you want to make it? What will you spend on? What will you not spend on? How much do you make? And of what you make, how much do you spend on your needs? How much do you save, invest, sow or waste? Your financial plan should include this and more. How much do you want to earn in the future? What’s your plan to get there? A good financial plan will increase one thousand to one million. The lack of a financial plan will reduce one million to one thousand. Don’t leave it to chance! Make a plan.

SCRIPTURE READING: PROVERBS 24:3-6 By wisdom a house is built; it is made secure through understanding. By knowledge, its rooms are furnished with all sorts of expensive and beautiful goods. A wise man is strong, and a knowledgeable man grows in strength. For through wise counsel you will wage your war, and victory lies in an abundance of advisors.

Dear God, grant me grace and wisdom to lay out a godly plan to prosper and increase. May I go beyond a chance to a place of planning and strategizing for money. I apply myself to your ways and wisdom that I may increase in you from glory to glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
