The creation account in Genesis portrays the picture that God created man and placed him in the garden to take care of it. Man’s first mission was to tend the garden and get it to perform at its best. He had a job that was expected of him as the man. The Bible and most cultures around the world expect the man to be the provider and protector of his home. Your spouse or girlfriend may not tell you this, but man, your primary mission is to provide for your family. You have been designed and graced as the provider. You are admired by that lady, not because of your muscles and haircut but by your ability to provide.
I encourage every single man to get working and earn a decent living before they marry. Your wife will expect you to bring something home. The more you bring the better your family will be. The man should, therefore, have a working hard attitude and be prepared to provide for his family. God cannot give you a responsibility without giving you the ability to get the job done. You have what it takes to get the job done. Don’t get lazy or messed up by the wrong crowd and influences. Get yourself in game mode. You are a world beater and a go-getter. You are a champion highly capable. You are a beautiful design of delicate balance between brute strength, classy, cunning and instinctive performance. You are armed and very dangerous, capable of performing at very high levels. You are a lean, mean, machine that can work over time, all the time and get results that beat the test of time. Don’t settle for the scraps when you can have the entire loaf. Do stop at the loaf when you can own the whole bakery. Refuse to be at the mercy of those that want to give you a fish. Go get your own fish. Matter of fact you can own the whole lake. You are the man, created in the image of God, with the outstanding capacity to make it happen. So don’t sit around waiting for someone to do it. Get up and go get it done today!

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 2:15-16
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Dear God, I pray for every man in my life to stand strong in your purpose and destiny. May they walk bold, mighty and confident. May they fulfill their purpose with outstanding colors in Jesus’ name. Amen.
