One of the best ways for you to spend your money is on yourself. We pay the government, the landlord, the loan shark, friends and family, yet many times we forget to pay ourselves. I am not talking about spending on things you love but rather investing in you. I believe investing in yourself is a very good habit. I am talking about improving who you are by spending good money to increase the value of you. How much money do you spend on making yourself better? How much time, resource and energy do you send on improving your brand? There is a better version of you waiting to be unleashed. There are many ways you can spend money on yourself that will enrich you. Getting an education, improving your education standards, reading, learning and growing are some of the ways to do this. Don’t be content with that one diploma, go get a degree. By getting that PHD you will be more marketable, capable, payable and bankable.
Invest in some good clothing for your wardrobe. Don’t compromise on the quality of your shoes. Get some excellent perfume that makes you smell like a million bucks even when you are broke. Update your suits and ties. Get a smart gadget that’s up to speed. Simplify your working environment so you can do more, better, faster and easier. Upgrade yourself where possible to get the most out of you. You are the best destination for your investment. I have seen people invest millions in others while they try to make ends meet on their end. You are your primary investment destination so get moving and invest in project YOU!

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also

Dear God, Open the eyes of my heart so I can see those areas where you want to improve me. May I dedicate money, time and effort to improve in life. Cause me to unleash an undated version of your work in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen
