Life throws everything at everyone every now and then. Challenges are universal and certain to come. Yet there is a strength beyond the obvious. The times we go through reveal what we are made of. Different people go through different situations differently because of the strength they possess. We are talking about spiritual strength that takes you through the lowest of valleys. Prayer is that strengthening place. Don’t just pray to have fun. We pray to strengthen ourselves. To build our capacity to handle the coming times and seasons. Strength built in prayer will take you through the toughest situations imaginable. You stand strong from that inward strength galvanised in prayer.
So strengthen yourself like that gymnast that works their body to get to that strength level. You take on more in prayer and build your capacity to handle life. Your regular prayer seasons embed grit and strength in your spirit to take a licking and keep ticking. You are not about to fold at the first sign of obstacles. You have a deep well of grace and life that keeps on giving and keeps you going. Your strength is from within you. It’s not from the success or the failure. It’s not from your pals or your competition. Eternal strength is only mastered in prayer. So strengthen your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost.
SCRIPTURE READING: JUDE 1:20-21, PSALM 89:20-24
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
Dear God, I take time to seek you in prayer. Build and strengthen me through these seasons. May I be stronger, wiser, bolder and bigger than I have ever been. Your grace strengthens me to run according to your will and purpose. Your power strengthens me to fight the good fight of faith. You grace me to overcome every obstacle and fulfill your purpose in Jesus’ name. Amen
