Prayer is the greatest place for building lives. We all love to see the finished product set on high and above all else. We seldom notice the process as it grinds through the gears, the motions and the obstacles. But prayer is that place where you can be built up and fashioned by God into a mighty giant. You are a work in progress as God is taking you from glory to glory. Prayer is that process where He reveals, exposes, breaks down and builds up the giant in you.
Go to the place of prayer expecting God to build you up. Your faith, character, spirit man, spiritual gifts and fruit of the spirit are all built up in prayer. There is a mighty giant waiting to be revealed in you through prayer. Do you see the need to be built up more in a particular area? Take it to the place of prayer and you will be built up. Don’t live a life of perpetual weakness. Take a journey to the building place of prayer and you will never be the same again. God is going to surprise you as you walk with Him in prayer. He will build your faith, your future, your family, your business from that prayer place. Put a spiritual brick as you abide in that place every day. God will surely build you up.
SCRIPTURE READING 1 PETER 2:1-5
Therefore, rid yourselves of every kind of evil and deception, hypocrisy, jealousy, and every kind of slander. Like newborn babies, thirst for the pure milk of the word so that by it you may grow in your salvation. Surely you have tasted that the Lord is good! As you come to him, the living stone who was rejected by people but was chosen and precious in God’s sight, you, too, as living stones, are building yourselves up into a spiritual house and a holy priesthood, so that you may offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus, the Messiah.
Dear God, Thank you for the awesome work you have started in me. You are surely working to bring me to great levels of blessing and grace. Thank you for your building grace upon me every day. So I surrender to your working that you may continue to build me up in you for your glory in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
