There are times we go through the in-between seasons of life. I am talking about the time you leave a job and don’t have another yet. The time you have been at a mountaintop and now have to go through the valley. The time you move from being the manager of a company to being self-employed. Almost like being stuck in an elevator between your origin and destination. These in-between seasons are very critical seasons that we must pray through. These are very trying moments when many get overwhelmed. The strength to pray is little and the circumstances appear like you are wasting your time. We want a breakthrough as soon as possible and will not settle for anything less. The in-between seasons are very critical in life.
Our focus and passion to pray a matter through should be at its best during the in-between seasons. It is easy to pray at the start as you are filled with expectation and enthusiasm. It is even much easier to pray at the end after you have seen the victory. The real challenge is those in-between seasons before your hand has touched the blessing. Pray during those transitions until the veil is lifted and you put your hands on the trophy. Keep the pressure in the spirit as you go from one season to another. Don’t throw in the towel. Victory is sure and the joy of victory will surely be yours.

Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Dear God, I know you are in charge of every situation of life. The mountains, the valleys and the in-between all belong to you. You surely reign at all levels through all levels. I receive strength for the in-betweens. To stand strong at the beginning all the way to the end. You are my guiding grace and by your Spirit, I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength. Amen
