SEEING

Spiritual accuracy means being able to see in the spirit. I am talking about using your spiritual eyes to see what is happening beyond the physical realm and having a glimpse into the spirit world. There are three worlds around us at all times. The natural, the mental and the spiritual. You must be able to look into these worlds with ease so you can make proper assessment of your situation. It’s not enough to be aware of your natural world only. You must engage with the mental and spiritual too.

Train your eyes to look beyond the obvious and into the spirit. Everything you see has all three facets to it and should be considered from all those three perspectives. You must see into the spirit and see things for what they are. What you see in the natural has a spiritual dimension. Focus your eyes beyond the natural until you zoom into the spirit realm. Look at the matter from the natural, the mental and the spiritual perspectives. Use your eyes to see into the spirit realm.

What do you see in your future? What about your present? Use your eyes to see the tomorrow that God is bringing your way. Look at life from the spiritual perspective and you will not be limited to the natural. Look beyond the obvious and take a good look at whatever is hidden in the spirit. Don’t blindly enter obligations without taking a good look into the spirit realm. Spiritual accuracy is a result of looking in the spirit so you can be precise with whatever you are dealing with.

SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Kings 6:8-18

Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, “I will set up my camp in such and such a place.” The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: “Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.”  So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places. This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them, “Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?” “None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers, “but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”

DEDICATION PRAYER:

Dear God, train my eyes to look beyond the obvious and into the spirit. Use my eyes to see the tomorrow that God is bringing my way. Grant me the grace to look beyond the obvious and take a good look at whatever is hidden in the spirit in Jesus’ Name. Amen
