When an airplane gets to cruise altitude, the pilot turns on the auto-pilot and lets the plane go into cruise control mode so they can relax a little. They get a cup of coffee, take out the newspaper and take it easy for a while. But when they are getting ready to land or take off, the pilot must be in a state of high alertness and give their undivided attention to the task at hand.
The season for elevation requires high sensitivity and alertness. You can’t afford to sit back and watch things happen from afar. You must be very aware of the spirit realm and what is going on. Be ready to spring into action when required. Don’t get into auto-pilot. This is your season for acceleration and promotion so you must be alert and engaged. Your eyes, ears, heart, mind and spirit must be alert to what is going on around you.
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Thessalonians 5:6
Therefore, let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, thank you because you let me watch and be sober in this elevate season. I believe I have the grace to be alert, sensitive, and aware of the spirit realm. May I spring into action when required in Jesus’ Name. Amen
