I have heard it said that some people are so poor they can’t pay attention. It may sound like a joke but paying attention is a critical part of living. Those that fail to pay the due attention normally end up suffering the consequences. I love the paying part of this because many times we want to be passive about what we are up to. Paying attention is more intentional and purposeful. It also brings into play a cost element. Paying attention means it costs you something to give the due diligence to dynamics at hand.
Let’s be intentional and purposeful in this season. The elevate anointing requires that you pay the necessary attention to what the Lord is doing in your life. Pay the price to be on the cutting edge of what the Lord is doing. Are you tuned into what the Lord is doing in your life today? The spiritual reality around you demands that you pay due attention and diligence to what the Lord is up to. Don’t just drift through life. Pay attention!
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear Father, teach me to be sober and alert to what you’re doing in my life. Am choosing to be attentive and tuned to you alone no matter what it costs in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
