Many times we ask God to do impossible things in our lives. We want that supernatural healing and blessing that will turn our lives around. But we don’t realise that sometimes He requires us to do the impossible before He can do the impossible we desire. I am talking about a frail woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve long years. She was physically exhausted, financially broke, emotionally finished and incapable of even getting out of bed. She was desperate, depressed, oppressed and ready to die. Yet her faith demanded that she got out of bed and hassled her way through a crowd to get close enough to touch Jesus. This was impossible. Yet when she did the impossible God reached out and did the impossible.
Don’t get comfortable waiting for God to do His thing. Get up and do the impossible in your situation. Go beyond yourself, your ability, your experience and your limitations. Do what you can’t do in your own strength. Reach deep into your soul and grasp the impossible by faith. Don’t wait for the impossible to happen. Make it happen today. Pray beyond your ability. Give beyond your strength. Believe beyond your senses and do the impossible.
SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 5:25-34
Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Dear God, I thank you because I do the impossible. May I go beyond myself, my ability, my experience and limitations. Grant me the Grace to do what I cant do in my own strength in Jesus’ name. Amen.
