GOAL IN MINISTRY

Every Child of God is called into ministry. Bearing fruit is a must for every Christian just like bearing fruit is a must for every tree. The tree that doesn’t bear fruit is chopped down. The lack of fruit in due season is a sign of a sick tree. Same goes for ministry. God has predestined every Christian to bear fruit in the Kingdom. You have been saved to serve your Saviour. Your life in its simplicity or complexity is destined to serve Jesus one way or another. That is the ultimate goal.

So the ultimate goal for every ministry is to win souls. It’s not about the music, the dance or the lights. Ministry is not about the presentation, the power point or the pulpit. It’s all about winning souls for Jesus. This must be the goal we keep fresh in our hearts and mind. Every program should be tailored towards winning souls and changing lives for the glory of God. Focus on the goal. Don’t get lost in the gimmicks. Grasp the goal at hand. Souls for the king

SCRIPTURE READING: Mathew 7:17-20

A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.

DEVOTION PRAYER:

Dear Father, I thank you because am predestined to bear fruit in the kingdom. I have been saved to serve and my ultimate goal as a minister is to win souls. I choose to focus on the goal in Jesus’ name. Amen
