We live in a world that talks about freedom of speech as long as what you say pleases their ears. It intolerantly demands to be tolerated. You must accept others while you won’t be accepted. I am talking about a liberal generation that hides behind claims of freedom while they will not extend the same freedom they demand to others. They disrespectfully demand respect of those they don’t respect. Lies are therefore presented as alternative truths and we all know even the news has become fake. This unashamed boldness has propped up lies at the expense of truth. The only way truth can therefore survive is by the use of outstanding boldness.
Presenting Christ to a wicked generation is going to take outstanding boldness. Step into a level of unashamed, uncompromising and unreserved boldness for the glory of God. The greatest news should not be presented like a lie. The world has been lying well while the Church has been telling the truth badly. Boldness ensures we tell the truth of the gospel better than before. Besides, this gospel is all about Jesus not about you. Be bold to present Christ and He will do the rest.
SCRIPTURE READING: Ephesians 6:14-20
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Dear Father, through your Spirit I will open my mouth boldly and make known the gospel unto the world. I will tell the truth of the gospel better than before. I believe the world will accept the truth if I present it with boldness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
