PLAN FOR SOULS

I have watched political leaders execute political plans to win an election. I have also seen business leaders as they plan to grow and expand their businesses around the globe. This strategic planning many times is the difference between success and failure. I am not taking about a complex set of actions but rather a simple guideline to follow in executing an objective. Allow me to encourage you to plan as a soul winner. You are an effective part of God’s plan to touch somebody with His love today.

Where can you go? What time, what message? What targets? Come up with some specifics of how you can be a soul winner today. Who are the people you are planning to reach? What’s the best method to present your message to them? Don’t complicate the matter. Just put together a simple plan to win souls today.

SCRIPTURE READING: Acts 13:1-7

Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.  As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”  Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.  And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.

Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus,  who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, Lead me to the right place, at the right time with the right message to win souls. God connect me to the right people you want me to preach to. Give me the right message to preach to your people in Jesus’ name. Amen.
