In His big plan, God has given different ministries different tasks which when put together will show a fraction of this wonderful plan. Usually, the man spearheading this part of God’s agenda writes down a vision. The vision many times entails what God laid on the vision bearer’s heart at the beginning of ministry. It is therefore important that the rest of us who have been gifted by God to fulfill this vision get well acquainted with the details of the vision. We should start by first memorizing the vision then proceed to understanding the vision.
Just like every individual is unique, every ministry is unique in purpose. Do you know what your local church is about in the grand scheme of things? Don’t just attend church, find out what your church is doing in the agenda of God and dive in. Preach Jesus with all the resources you have including your church community. You have been gifted and anointed by God to bring that vision to fruition. Get on with your work but do so in the set boundaries of the vision. Build according to the pattern of the vision your leader got from God.
SCRIPTURE READING: Exodus 25:40, Psalms 127:1
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
Heavenly father, I thank you for the special talents and anointing you gave me. Today I ask that you grant me more wisdom on how to effectively use them to witness you the best way possible within the vision of my local church. Help me never to build anything you are not building but to stick to the plan as you gave it. I pray and ask all of this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
