In a soccer match, the main goal is to have more goals than your opponent team after 90 minutes of the match. A player doesn’t have all day to score. If one team should discover a wonderful way to score more goals after the ninety minute whistle is blown, it would be too late for them to win that match. You have a timeline, first with your stay on earth and also the lifespan of those to whom you witness Jesus. It is a ticking clock.
You want to preach Jesus to others while they are still alive and are able to function in the kingdom. Make the most of every relationship you have. Determine to give a “Jesus dose” to all that come into contact with you. You are a debtor to your world in preaching the gospel. This call is time sensitive. You don’t have forever therefore get to work already. Preach Jesus at all times, Make the most of every relationship, it is Time bound!
SCRIPTURE READING: Eph 5:15-17
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
Dear Lord, help me realize the urgency of my calling so as to act in a time sensitive manner in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
