Show me your routines and I will point in the same direction showing you where you are headed. It’s the things that you do daily that eventually get you to where you are going. As a son of God it should be a routine to pray, whether you feel like or not, to study God’s Word, whether or not it’s convenient and to Witness Jesus whether you receive an applause or a cold shoulder.
Whatever the situation, your connection to your Father through prayer should not be cut off, His communication to you through the scriptures must not stop and your Witness of Him must not diminish. These are the routines of Sons of God. They are led by the Spirit of God with whom they commune daily, are you a son? When was the last time you heard from your Father? What did you do about it?
SCRIPTURE READING: Acts 17:2,
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: AND, AS HIS CUSTOM WAS, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Dear God, thank you for the gifts and talents you have entrusted me with. I pray that you help me develop healthy routines which will foster the growth of these gifts until I become beneficial to the church, In Jesus’ name, Amen.
