Victory is simply triumph through a challenge or battle. Testimony comes after testing. Winning comes after a war. This is where many believers begin to stumble. We want the testimony without the trial. But the very nature of the words suggests that without the one you can’t get the other. Victory is not the absence of battle but it comes through battle. Don’t run from the battle. Stand your ground and victory shall surely be yours.
The battle you are facing is not going to break you but rather to make you. The fact that the test has started means your testimony is in the making. Embrace the challenge with a smile and confidence knowing that victory is on the way. Every battle you face today has been allowed by the Lord so that through it you can see His glory and goodness. You are not faced with a stumbling block. It is a stepping stone. Embrace your trials with confidence and excitement knowing that through them the Lord will be glorified. You are victorious through it all.
SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 8:37-39
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Devotional Prayer: Father I thank you for victory through Christ who came and shed His blood offering His life that I might overcome, now I know that am the head and not the tail through the blood of the lamb. My assurance for a victorious life will always be in Jesus Christ. Amen.
