A well-built muscle-man is a beautiful specimen of the creation of God. It takes years of serious commitment and sacrifice to get one’s body into good shape. Working out will bring each muscle into full development and growth. Sadly every muscle-man needs to breathe to be alive. Just because your body is well toned doesn’t mean you can forget about breathing and still be alive. Stop breathing and all those muscles will be dead in about five minutes.
Faith without actions is dead. Faith actions mean that the faith is alive. Failure to give faith the appropriate actions means the death of that faith. Victory comes on the heels of your faith actions. You must therefore find the corresponding for your faith in order to activate that faith. Victory is grasped through the actions of faith. Don’t just sit there, do something that releases your faith into victory today.
SCRIPTURE READING: James 2:14-18
What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Heavenly Father, guide me to have faith that has actions. May victory be grasped through the actions of faith. Lead me to live a faithful life in Jesus’ name. Amen
