God has surely done something in your life. It may not be recent but somewhere down the line, you have seen the grace and goodness of God. He has provided, delivered, protected, promoted and done much more than you could imagine. Considering how far you’ve come and how many battles you’ve faced and triumphed over, there is no doubt that you have a testimony.
Focusing on what the Lord has done in your past is a sure way to turn peace and joy on, in your situation today. Christians that live life without joy and peace simply have a short memory or are just ungrateful. Remind yourself of the wonderful things the Lord has done in your life. Things you didn’t expect or deserve yet He did them anyway. Discipline yourself to focus on what the Lord has done and it will encourage you to wait and be expectant of what He’s doing next. Tell your testimony to yourself, your family, your church, the internet and even the devil. Testify your way to joy!
SCRIPTURE READING: Psalms 77:11-20
I will remember the works of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds. Your way, O God, [is] in the sanctuary; Who [is] so great a God as [our] God? You [are] the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples. You have with [Your] arm redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah The waters saw You, O God; The waters saw You, they were afraid; The depths also trembled. The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound; Your arrows also flashed about. The voice of Your thunder [was] in the whirlwind; The lightnings lit up the world; The earth trembled and shook. Your way [was] in the sea, Your path in the great waters, And Your footsteps were not known. You led Your people like a flock By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Father thank you for the far that you’ve brought me. I am filled with great joy everytime I meditate what you’ve done for me. I will live to testify about your goodness. I am gonna release Joy through my testimony in Jesus’name, Amen.
