There is something peaceful about knowledge. Fear, panic and anxiety are generally born of ignorance. Those that are unaware grapple around in darkness unaware of what to expect or even do. Knowledge empowers and liberates. Peace follows knowledge, so does joy. The knowledge I am talking about here is not just in the head but in heart. Knowing beyond the mental capacity but in your spirit. This is unchanging, unwavering interact with truth that produces resolute faith.
Our knowledge of God, His ways and His word positions us to walk in peace and joy. Imagine knowing the outcome of a battle before it starts. You neither panic nor fumble in the dark. Each move you make is solid and sure. All may try to change or challenge you but your knowledge secures you like an anchor. Lock down what you know and become immovable in your faith. You will then live a peaceful, joyful and content life because you know God. Don’t mind what you don’t know. Establish what you know instead.
SCRIPTURE READING: Daniel 11:32
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Thank you Jesus for you have filled me with knowledge. Thank you for your ways and word position me to walk in peace and joy. Am assured of victory before the battle begins. I choose to establish what I know in the name of Jesus, Amen.
