I will never forget my first magnifying glass. We had a science project that required one and I had to acquire it urgently. That was a long excited day as I explored the wonders of the micro world that had always been hidden from me. Little insects suddenly became big, small living micro-organisms came into full light like mega cities before my very eyes. The more time I spent with the magnifying glass and the microscope the more I realised that what was invisible or insignificant to the naked eyes was actually more important than what was clearly visible. The things you focus on are the things you magnify.
Life throws all kinds of things your way so you choose what you desire out of all that comes to you. Applying the principle of focus means that you ignore what is not yours and focus on what you believe should work for you. Choose to focus your energy, wisdom, effort, time and resources on the things you want to amplify. You should give hours into what you are focused on and it will eventually amplify. Focus on your joy and peace. Focus on the things that make you tick. Focus on the things that bring you into purpose and destiny. Focus on what the Lord has been doing in you that they may be amplified. Focus with your talk, your thoughts your time and your efforts.
SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 11:23-24
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Father I choose to focus on what you have poured into my spirit. Am going to magnify the joy, peace and victory you have poured into my spirit. I am focusing my energy, wisdom, effort and time to amplify what you have done in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.
