A crown is often a symbol of beauty and honor. Crowns are given to winners of beauty contests or rulers of Kingdoms. Often as people come to the end of the year, some evaluate how the year has progressed with a view to strategize for the next year while others are just fed up of the year and want it get wrapped up. In the midst of this, God has a plan as far as ending the year is concerned. The scripture says God crowns the year with His Bounty and Goodness.
A bounty is defined as a reward given to someone enlisted in the navy service or one who has been involved in an army campaign. Every person who has believed in the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior has also been enlisted into the army of the Lord. The army is always engaged in warfare. Paul the Apostle refers to it as a fight of good faith. He calls it so because the believer has already won the war even before it starts because of Calvary.
A bounty is also defined as good things being given freely and in large amounts. This is a rare one cause often people keep saying good things are always in short supply. They often say enjoy them while they last. Not so with God. His plan is to crown the year with His Good things that He is providing freely and in large amounts. This is the vocabulary of God. The plan of God is to pour His goodness in a good measure pressed down shaken together and running over. May you receive His abundance in measures not experienced before in Jesus Name.
