Daily Devotion

Perfect people are not made from perfect situations. The reverse is actually true. Imagine you own the whole universe and you want to dispatch your son to the earth. If you are like me, you would be thinking about the best country, best weather, best economy and peaceful environment. I would want the best hospital or even better, would build the best hospital in the best street of the best city with the best personnel.  Interestingly God chose the humble stable loaded with horses, cattle, and sheep as the entry point for His son. This imperfect situation was the perfect situation.

I know we all face imperfect situations in life. Those might as well be the perfect opportunity for you. Allow God to work through the imperfections around you to deliver first class perfection in your life. Don’t be offended at the imperfections you may see. Look beyond them and see what God is doing to perfect you. Don’t be defined by what has gone wrong. God is working through it all for your perfections. Can you imagine Christ born at the Hilton? Learn to see perfection in imperfection.

SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you for being perfect in my imperfection. I am not offended by the imperfection around me for I believe, You’re going to deliver first class perfection in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen
