The end of year can be a significant and strategic period of awesome opportunities. More than anything else, it gives you a chance to leave some things behind. You really don’t have much of a choice when it comes to the transition of the year. In the same way you can use the old year as a marker to leave some things behind with the year.
Leave behind the frustrations, disappointments and failures of the previous year. Leave behind the bad habits and wrong perceptions you have been carrying with you. Leave behind the bad company, bad influence and bad places so you can confidently march into your future. I challenge you to make a list of things you must leave behind in 2018 and determine not to return to them at all.
SCRIPTURE READING: Isaiah 43:18-19 ” Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness [And] rivers in the desert.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I behold the new thing that shall spring out this year. I remember the former frustrations and disappointments no more. I believe your word to work in me, in Jesus’ name. Amen
