LOCK DOWN

Life is filled with many things pulling on us from every direction. There are thousands of possibilities and frankly, one could spend a lifetime simply learning about the new possibilities emerging every day. That is why Elisha instructed the widow woman who needed a miracle to lock herself away in her house as she worked what she had to get what she needed. Clearly she would have been distracted by all the chatter coming from everywhere. She had to lock down onto what the Lord was doing and ignore the rest.

This year of supernatural harvest requires that you stop being everywhere doing everything. Don’t be a jack of all trades and master of none. Lock down into that one thing you are working on and ignore the glamorous distractions knocking at your door. Learn the principle of focus. Yes the possibilities are real but you can’t have it all. You can’t be everywhere at all times, doing all things. Lock down on that one thing that is your source of breakthrough.

SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Kings 4:5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought [the vessels] to her; and she poured [it] out.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Loving father, this year am choosing to be a master of something. Am locking down into that one thing am working on and ignoring the glamorous distractions knocking at my door. I believe that Your grace is sufficient for me in such a time in Jesus’ name. Amen
