When the widow in 2 Kings 4 finally got her breakthrough of provision, Elisha the prophet instructed her to go sell the oil, pay her dues and live off the rest. We all know that she was in trouble because she was in debt. It’s kind of obvious that she needed to pay her debts yet the man of God specifically instructed her to go do the obvious. Clearly the obvious is not always that obvious.
Likewise this year God is requiring that you pay your dues, take care of your business, be diligent and astute in handling your affairs as you walk into your supernatural harvest. Don’t be slack in executing what seems obvious but get on with it without holding back. The Supernatural harvest of God demands that we be faithful and accountable stewards of the wonderful blessings the Lord brings your way. Remember to take care of your business.
SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Kings 4:7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you [and] your sons live on the rest.”
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly father, am grateful of what You require of me this year. Am going to pay my dues, take care of my business, and be diligent in handling my affairs as I walk into the supernatural harvest. Am fully aware that this season demands me to be faithful and accountable of Your wonderful blessings. Hallelujah!
