STAY IN GOD’S LANE

The first time that God’s children entered into idolatry, after being delivered from Egyptian captivity, was in the wilderness of Sinai; when having not seen or had from God or Moses for several days, a multitude from among them, rose up with one voice and demanded that Aaron make them an idol that they may worship it as their god. Notice here that Israel was not seduced into idolatry by foreigners. The seduction came from within the Israelite camp. Even after promising to obey and serve God, they willfully went on to corrupt themselves.
In this season of the supernatural harvest, make sure to stay focused on what God is doing in your life. Be watchful and mindful that you do not corrupt yourself, and ultimately deceive yourself out of God’s blessing.

SCRIPTURE READING:Exodus 32:1
“When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, [they] gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

DEVOTION PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank you for this supernatural season. I pray that you grant me the wisdom, boldness and strength to stay true to you, that I may not depart from your way. Help me to stay in your lane.
