There are times we find ourselves in a valley. These are seasons when things are not moving according to plan. There are hard and difficult times where nothings seem to converge against you. However, I see God in you as you handle the tough valleys of life. What has killed others only makes you stronger. The valley that has ended many has served to bring you into great knowledge of the Lord Jesus. God is with you right there in that valley.
Footsteps in the sand is a story of a man who had a vision of heaven. The Lord showed him how at every step he took, the Lord was walking with him, evidenced by two foot prints in the sand. However, the man realized during the most difficult seasons of his life, only one set of foot prints was visible in the sand. The Lord told him the one set of foot prints is because during the most difficult times, Jesus was carrying him. Your valley is the time when the Lord carries you. You can do your thing at the mountain top because you have the strength to perform. But in the deepest valley you are incapable of doing anything and that’s when the Lord takes over. I see God in you as he graces you to go through your valleys.
SCRIPTURE READING: Psalms 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul he leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies you anoint my head with oil my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
Dear God, while I face difficult times I pray that you may carry me through the valley and grant me the strength to reach my peak.
