A world filled with problems, challenges, sickness, wars, hunger and anger wants to dictate the temple and the mood of life. But being consumed by the obstacles at hand doesn’t necessarily bring solutions.
That’s why we must deliberately, turn our hearts and minds on to the Lord our God. Let us focus our attention onto the awesome ability, love, wonders and blessings of the Lord.
Ignore the pull to confirm to this world and endeavor to see the invisible and hear the inaudible. Look beyond the obvious and be captivated by the Lord and His grace.
SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:19,24&25 Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead. It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, am grateful for your love towards me. Teach me to focus on you at all times. May I live to please you in Jesus name.Amen
