God answers prayer. All the needs and requests presented to Him are in line for quick fulfilment. Many people do come to God in prayer presenting their needs and seeking His divine intervention with sincere hearts, and surprise God by suddenly putting limits to their expectations. Coming to an awesome big God in prayer yet asking Him to do tiny, insignificant and limited things is a paradox. It is only fitting that once we come to our big God, we pray big things.
Take the limits off your prayer life and pray Big. Don’t just ask for the bare minimum, pray that God will super abound in your life. Don’t give God those “if” prayers saying “God if you can”. We all know He surely can. So be confident, daring and audacious in your requests and boldly pray big. You can get that small thing sorted in your life. How about you stop praying about it and simply get it done so you can fill your prayer life with those things that are too big for you to do in your own ability and pray big.
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Corinthians 2:9-12 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, I carry the understanding that nothing is too big for you. In this season may I focus on praying for things that are beyond my ability. I choose to be confident and daring in my prayer life, hallelujah!
