THE GIFT OF GRACE

The indescribable gift could well be the grace of God. I am talking about “God’s riches at Christ’s expense”. God by His love has given us Christ who took the penalty for our sins and in turn given us every blessing that comes in His name. We deserved death but His mercy has passed us from judgement translating us to life eternal to enjoy every blessing of his grace. The favour of God extends His wonderful gifts unto us His children.

You are therefore qualified by God in the same areas where you had been disqualified because of His grace. You are placed in a position of victory and blessing because Christ has given you strength. You are numbered among those that should manifest the power of God because His grace is at work in your life. Jesus loved you just as you were that He died for you so he could change you from where you were to a better place as a child of God.

The Grace of God is a transforming force that literary takes a wicked Saul and makes a Holy Paul out of him. The gift of grace is perpetually metamorphosing people into an upgraded version that can’t compare with the former. It’s indescribable that the thief steals no more but rather works to bless others and compels them to submit to the life changing grace of God. Words can’t fully capture that.

SCRIPTURE READING: Titus 2:11-14

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself [His] own special people, zealous for good works.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Father, Thank you for your grace that compels my life to change. May I understand that I am placed in a place of victory because of your grace in Jesus name.
