Now I am absolutely confident that Jesus is the indescribable gift of God to us. God compressed Himself into a physical body so He could take up residence among us. The eternal God took on the nature of man and moved into our neighbourhood. That is so complex, can’t be fathomed. This was all for His love to us so He could provide salvation for all. No wonder we call His name wonderful, prince of peace. His live was a miracle just as His death. Taking the sin of the world in His own body and becoming the first born from the dead.
In Jesus we have all we could ever need for this life and the next. He is the perfect gift for all eternity. One son to make all sons. The resurrected one that all who believe will resurrect. God among us so we don’t have to live separated from our father. Our forgiveness, healing, prosperity, purpose and destiny on the planet. Jesus is that ultimate gift that keeps on giving. There is absolutely no end to who He is in our lives. The eternal God compressing Himself in a specific time just to meet those at that point in time. Now that is indescribable. And to think that if you were the only person on the planet He would have done it all just for you? What a gift!
SCRIPTURE READING: John 1:11-14
He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Jesus. The perfect gift in my life. You are my forgiveness and destiny unto this life. Am grateful for the wonderful life you have given me. Hallelujah!
