Jesus died once and for all for all who believe and trust on His name. Salvation is provided for all who rely on the goodness of God and the work of the cross of Jesus. God has provided eternal salvation for all who trust on His name. Faith in the Lord gives us right standing with Him and empowers us to overcome the challenges that may come our way.
Yes, temptations come to take you away from the Lord, but by faith you hold onto your confession and overcome the obstacles that present themselves. The eternal work of salvation that has been started in your heart is not to be overturned by some short fall. Yes, we sometimes fall down but we don’t stay down, we resist sin and its ways at all times. When we fall short of the mark we repent, stand up by faith and continue on our faith walk.
Eternal salvation means you are committed to the Lord for the rest of your life and will do whatever it takes to continue walking with the Lord. You refuse to relinquish your hold on salvation through the storms that may come your way. You resist sin by faith and press forward towards the mark of your high calling in the Lord. Jesus died for you once and for all so now you can settle down in your heart and accept you are a child of God and live each day of your life in light of that salvation.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; itis the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
DEVOTION PRAYER: My heart is glad to know that Jesus died for my sins, oh Lord I thank you for the gift of salvation. Teach me to have a right standing with you in Jesus name. Amen
