RICHES AT CHRIST’S EXPENSE

Imagine a king who leaves his domain and goes to a far country. He abandons his wealth, power and glory so he can fit into the new country he has acquired. As soon as he settles in this new place, he is going to bring whatever he left behind into this new place. The king we are talking about is Jesus. He left everything in heaven to come on the earth as our saviour. As soon as we embrace His kingdom, we are thrust into the blessings and riches He left.

The grace of God comes to enrich you. The Lord has intended and provided for you to live above the poverty line and enjoy supernatural provision. Good news to the poor is simply prosperity. Lack is not of God. Looking at the vast natural resources the Lord has placed on the earth you can clearly see that He didn’t spare any expense in providing what we need. That is why you should embrace the mentality of prosperity. God’s riches are your portion at Christ’s expense. The same way Jesus died to save you from sin and sickness, He also provided for your prosperity, you therefore don’t have to shy away from the goodness of God. You are blessed in the Lord.

SCRIPTURE READING:  Ephesians 1:15-19 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what [is] the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Father your grace came to enrich me. I chose to embrace Your kingdom which led me into blessings and riches that You left for me. I walk in your riches in Jesus’ name.
