We need to understand that our convictions, whether they are true or false, right or wrong , strong or weak, do not develop by chance. Persuasion does not just happen. No one can be persuaded to believe anything in someone or something just out of the blue. It takes a certain level of information, knowledge and understanding, and also being intentional about things, in order to develop certain beliefs and convictions. In order for you to develop true, right, and strong convictions concerning God’s will, it is important that you be intentional about pursuing true and right information, knowledge and understanding of the person of God and His plans and purposes for your life; you must intentionally pursue the word of God.
SCRIPTURE READING: Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the good plans you have for my life. I pray you open the eyes of my understanding, so that I may be able to understand and share your convictions concerning my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen
