Conviction brings stability to our lives. When you develop godly convictions, you are well able to firmly and steadfastly handle both the spiritual and natural affairs of your life. When you are truly persuaded that you are in the will of God, you victoriously endure all kinds of adversity; no matter hard or tough the circumstances may be. Take the example of Jesus Christ, who throughout His ministry, faced various kinds of temptations from the devil, and opposition and persecution from religious leaders, most especially the Pharisees, yet at no time did He ever stray from His mission to save the world.
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Matthew 26:38-39
Then He said to them, My soul is very sad and deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake and keep watch with Me. And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire. Matthew 26: 38-39
Heavenly Father, I thank you for granting me the privilege to share in your convictions. Thank you for brining steadfastness to my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen
