A few years ago, there was a beautiful five star hotel being built not far from my home. The works took a good three years and we were all looking forward to the completed project. I went through the place at some point and the construction site looked terrible. Everything was out of place as men run about like wild ants making things happen. I finally got a chance to see the finished work and I was impressed. All the building were roofed, carpentered and painted. The grounds were planted, the drives paved and the rooms furnished. Chandeliers hanging from the ceilings welcomed you into the facility and this completed work surely looked better than the work in progress.

God who is your alpha is also your omega. The Greek alphabet ends with the letter omega. God is in the business of finishing what He starts. Like a master builder, God is putting the finishing touches on the project He started in you. You may be worked up with all the concrete, dirt, bricks and mortar around your life, but fear not, the time to complete that work in you is not far. God will take you to the next phase of laying carpets and painting the walls of your life. Don’t fret the construction phases of life. The completion phases come right after.

1 Peter 5:10. But may the God of all grace, who called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you.

Dear God, you are my beginning and end. I have faith in your plan for me and as I go through the construction process, I believe that the finished work will be amazing. In Jesus name. Amen
