I have been to buildings that were completed and in good use yet some of these buildings were not perfected. You can roof the house, plaster the floors, paint the walls and move into a completed but an imperfect house. You will then wish the tiles were different, the ceiling higher, the walls another colour and the bathroom laid out different. Am sure we have all been to places that were functional but not perfected.

God is not just in the business of finishing His work in you. He is very interested in perfecting that work in your life. God is all about perfecting your life so that nothing should be lacking and everything be as good as possible. Just like in Genesis, everything God created was beautiful or rather perfect. Open your life up to the perfect grace of God in you. Don’t settle for good enough. Press forward to perfect. Do the best you can. Be the best you can be. Good enough is not good enough for you. The Lord your God is all about perfecting all things that concern you.

Ephesians 4:11-13. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of God, to a perfect man, to measure the stature of the fullness of Christ.

Loving Father, I know that you are a God of perfection, although my life is a work in progress I will not settle for less. This is because I know that through you I can do all things, for nothing is impossible in your name. Amen.
