Daily Devotion

I planted some coffee trees a few years ago. They started frail and weak but today they are starting to bear fruit. The process of getting them to this fruitful level has been eye opening. It has been hard work that requires patience.  There are times I had to get them watered every day. Sometimes they required manure, weeding, trimming and shading. Honestly it’s been a long tedious process not for the faint hearted. Sadly there is no other way of getting grown trees without growing them. Same goes for people.

The journey from being a child to sonship to fathering to inheritance is one that requires growth. Refuse the shortcuts to where you are going and go through the process. It’s not enough to just get to the top. You must grow through the different levels so that you can stay at the top once you get there. The wisdom, grace, strength and anointing you need to stay at the top is gathered way before you get there through the process of growth. The growth process will take you to tough places where it’s easier to just bail and run. You will need to make tough decisions that will not be welcomed by all. It will require that you access all the information you have received on a matter and make the best decision with it. You must grow through the different phases, levels, dimensions and seasons of life to become solid and immovable.

But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him [anything.] “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,

DEVOTION PRAYER: Oh Lord! May I enjoy the growth process. As I transition from childhood to sonship teach me to make tough decisions on a matter and make the best out of it. May I grow through the different levels and dimensions in Jesus’ name, Amen
