Daily Devotion

Life has different avenues, streets, and bends. Sometimes the bends are so subtle you don’t know what to do. The Bible tells us about the nameless woman, if we may call her that ,who had an issue of blood for 12 years. This woman had tried to do what any human being would do if they were sick. She sought medical attention from medical doctors who definately gave her their best shot at her issue. This I suspect because she paid for the services. Unfortunately her funds run out before she got a solution to her problem. As if that was not bad enough, she had grown worse. This sounds like a series of unfortunate events. Good enough, she probably heard from someone about Jesus. It seems like this is the only thing that happened that countered all the negative records. I call it the hope against all hope. Jesus was the only hope to her hopeless situation. He still is to all of us today. Let us look to Him.

Psalms 121: I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? My help [comes] from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

Heavenly Father, Teach me to hold onto you no matter what darkness may be assailing my soul in Jesus Name, Amen.
