If you have lived both in the urban and rural areas it is clear the difference that power can bring about in a location. Little wonder that in the English language, power is defined as the ability to do something or a given task. The Holy Spirit often gives us the ability to do what we naturally would not be able to do. A typical example is a timid Peter who had vehemently denied any knowledge of his master and Lord was turned into a fiery preacher who led thousands to the Lord after receiving the Holy Spirit. The key point is the Holy Spirit gives you the ability to do but as a believer you have to take the action to realise the potential. Take action as you are inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2: 40-41 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for the empowerment that you avail me through the Holy Spirit. Help me to realise the potential you have put in my life as I take action inspired by the Holy Spirit.
