Daily Devotion

Many people today are in mental institutions or admitted into medical facilities due to ailments that are connected to guilt or condemnation. Most of these individuals have a sense of feeling that they brought what occurred to them upon themselves. Further to that they are left with a feeling that not much can be done about their condition. We know from scripture that this is not true because our God is a God of redemption and hope. He not only forgives our sin when we confess it but also cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

This basically leaves no room for condemnation. It’s only the devil who plans to mount guilt and condemnation over things that God has forgiven and forgotten. Next time the enemy tries to heap you with condemnation over what you have repented about, just stand your ground and tell him that God your Father forgave you and threw the sin into the sea of forgetfulness. He also put a sign post NO FISHING ALLOWED IN THESE WATERS.

SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Thank you for delivering me from the spirit of condemnation in Jesus Name, Amen.
