Daily Devotion


God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and as a result, He went about doing good. He healed the sick, cast out devils, blessed the poor and changed many lives. The power and presence of God is given for a purpose. It not to look good on Sunday and to shout hallelujah. The purpose of God is that you may do good everywhere you go. You have the grace and strength of God upon you. Refuse to congratulate yourself but rather fold your sleeves and get doing some good.

Your family will take note of the good you do. Your community, city, church and work place all take note of the good you do. As a matter of fact, they are waiting on you to get lined up with the blessing of God. You are the ambassador of the Lord where He has placed you. Refuse to be irrelevant and to quietly drift off into the sunset. This is your time to stand strong in the Lord and do good every day. Christ in you the hope of glory will make the difference that the world needs. All creation in patiently waiting for you to show up in the anointing to do good beyond words.

SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 8:18-19 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, teach me to continue doing good everywhere I go. I choose to do good everyday bearing in mind that I am revealing Christ in this world, Amen.
