WITNESSES FOR GOD

The human race is interact and expressive in design. The things we experience become part of our conversation. The more we talk about our experiences the more we understand and experience them. Walking with God is not supposed to be a secret hidden in our hearts. We ought to talk about it daily as we internalise the great things we are going through. Every miracle, every blessing including every trial is an opportunity to see God and share Him with those interact with on a daily basis.

Some Christians want to be undercover agents. Most would rather be double agents working for and working on all sides. They therefore keep their walk with God a secret never to be let out. They fluidly enter or exit the kingdom of God depending on their daily experiences. Some have kept this secret so closely that even those they have shared a bed with for decades have no idea who they truly are. Let your true colours be seen at all times. Refuse to blend in and comply with the mould.

Beginning with your immediate family, friends, workmates and those you meet. Let your light shine. Be a witness to them of the grace and goodness of God. Tell all what He has done for and through you. Every day you are alive is an opportunity to tell those around you what God has done in your life. Be an instrument in the hands of God to tell of His grace and glory each day. Point someone to Jesus. Bring someone to church. The work of God inside you doesn’t end there. It must go through you to all those you encounter. That is being an effective Christian.

SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 16:14-18 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

DEVOTION PRAYER: Oh Lord, I know and understand that you’re at work in my life. I choose to be bold to preach Christ at all times. I fully understand that as the light in this world, Christ is the solid rock on which I stand. Amen
