GOD’S WORKMANSHIP

Farming is an interesting vocation that gives outstanding results to those that do it right. A good farmer will tend the land, plant crops, fertilize, prune and harvest as the situation dictates. They give the farm whatever it needs and what it takes to get results. They are a workman labouring to get the best out of that farmland.

You are God’s field and He is the workman doing whatever it takes and what you need to get you attaining your destiny. God will challenge you, encourage, rebuke, breakdown, build up, reposition, fertilise and work through every situation to get you to that place of destiny. God has got you going on the path of destiny through the various stages and dimensions ever increasing you in grace, strength and power.

Appreciate the process of God. Work with God as He takes you on this glorious journey. Refuse to skip the process. Stay the course with the plan of God. Trust God, His word, His ways and His Spirit. Yes you should allow God to continue His work in you, but don’t forget He is the workman and you are His field. Like the farmer, God will do whatever it takes to get the best out of you.

SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain [man] had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung [it]: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, [then] after that thou shalt cut it down.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
