The story is told of a 300 pound heavy weight boxer who went into a title about fighting an equally formidable opponent. The fight was stretched all the way to the tenth round and with both boxers bloodied and beaten, the outcome was decided by a panel of judges. The winner was hoisted high on shoulders and given the wining prize; One million dollars. This boxer took that winning cheque and gave it to his little wife. She was a tiny girl who could hardly harm a fly. That boxer was triumphant but his wife was more than a conqueror. The boxer did all the work and handed the victory to his wife

We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. God has taken all the beating and handed us the victory. Yes you have to stand your ground but it’s from a place of victory. You have to fight the good fight but this fight has been fixed in your favour. We already know the outcome, Jesus has given you the victory in all things. Your victory has been guaranteed and delivered by the Lord. Joyfully march into the greatness God has place in your tomorrow. You are triumphant in Christ.

SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 8:31-39 what then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? [It is] God who justifies. Who [is] he who condemns? [It is] Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:  [” For Your sake we are killed all day long;] [ We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”] Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear Lord, I choose to be peaceful and joyful through everything. I trust that I am victorious in you. I have overcome, I am more than a conqueror and I can do all things through you who gives me strength. Amen
